Instructions

Set of yard tackles for the Roter Löwe 1597 model in 1:55 scale designed for more detailed and historically accurate representation of handling tackle systems used on this Renaissance European sailing ship.

Yard tackles were tackle assemblies mounted on the ends of yards and used for handling cargo, boats and other ship equipment. Compared to standard kit parts, the set offers significantly more accurate historical detailing and a more realistic appearance of the model.

The set contains CNC machined single blocks, violin blocks and black patinated ship hooks corresponding to types used on European sailing ships during the 16th and 17th century.

All wooden components are manufactured from walnut wood using CNC machining technology to achieve precise shapes, fine details and realistic appearance of the complete assembly.

For complete rigging of the model, we recommend combining the set with running rigging blocks, standing rigging deadeyes and AMATI model ship ropes.
