Special blocks

This category covers special rigging blocks and fittings for historic ship models—used where standard single/double/triple blocks are not sufficient or where a specific historical function requires a dedicated type.

It includes heart blocks (hearts) commonly used for setting up certain parts of standing rigging, ramshead blocks associated with specific halyard/tie arrangements, as well as lift blocks and sheet blocks for leading lifts and sheets. You will also find violin (fiddle) blocks, sister blocks, pendant blocks, and special deadeyes for particular rigging layouts.
