Description of deck: This ship deck contains a wooden deck for: third gun deck, upper deck, pop deck on stern, Lead gun's balls diameter 2m, gratings on these ship decks and other details. It does not include a wooden deck for the first and second gun decks, as these are not visible in the model through gun's ports.
Deck is engraved to the veneer to match the historical facts. It is demonstrated by photos of the Victory board, which stands in dry dock at the English Portsmouth. Design of peripheral boards is called "Waterway". Ending boards into the waterway, especially at the bow so. "Crochet" and narrowing the boards toward bow and stern sides of the ship. Marking pins so called. "Treenline" by which deck was nailed to the deck-beam (beams holding the deck of the ship) corresponds to the plans, as seen on the picture. Boat plans are used from the book describing the construction of the ship - “100 gun ship Victory”, which can be found among the books on my website.
Veneer deck accurately fit to the plastic deck for this model. There are cut out all the openings on the deck, such as on the plastic substrate. Additionally, you can also use veneer covers of edges of manholes and grilles. At the same time I offer imitations of cannon balls that were scattered around the bars on the gun deck.
