Material: 0.3 mm thick veneer, Oak and Beech
Deck description: The deck is engraved into the veneer to correspond with the construction practices used for Spanish galleons of the period. The arrangement of individual deck planks and their endings is reproduced according to the character of this type of historic sailing ship. The fastening points representing the wooden treenails used to secure the deck planks to the deck beams are also marked. All these details help reproduce the appearance and construction principles of a period wooden deck.
The veneer deck fits precisely over the plastic deck of this model. All openings corresponding to those in the original plastic deck are pre-cut. 
A recommended installation procedure is included with the deck.
