History on Wikipedia: HERE

The Gorch Fock is a three-masted school bark of the German Navy. She was built at the Blohm & Voss shipyards in Hamburg and launched on 23 August 1958. Her home port is Kiel. Approximately 200 cadets complete their training on the ship each year. Gorch Fock regularly participates in international regattas. The ship was named after the German sailor and writer Johann Kinau, who published his books under the pseudonym Gorch Fock. Johann Kinau was killed on the cruiser Wiesbaden in the Battle of Jutland in May 1916. This is the second ship to bear the name Gorch Fock. The first ship was launched in 1933 and also served as a school ship. The ship was acquired by the Soviet Union at the end of World War II as part of war reparations and renamed Tovarishch. After the collapse of the Soviet Union in the early 1990s, the ship came under the flag of Ukraine. However, maintaining the barque's operation was very costly and in August 2003 Ukraine handed Gorch Fock back to the German owner Tall-Ship Friends.
Basic technical data: displacement 1760, length 81 m, beam 12 m, draft 5.2 m, 1952 m2, engine power 1220 kW.
I haven't seen the kit personally, but I assume it will be built to the same quality as other Heller ship models.
