The former American company Pyro produced many small, mini models in the scale of about 1:250 - 1:500. These were models of specific historical ships like Half Moon, Golden Hind, as well as just common ship types like this brig or Spanish galleon, but also the now rarer Venecia karak or Dutch Staten yacht. All models are of similar quality to this model. Many of these models are now manufactured by Lindberg or its sister company. Some of the models even got reissued in 2014. I believe they will all be phased out soon, as they can enrich the collections of many a modeler.
