Mercury 1:100 - Zvezda model by Alex

The Brig Mercury earned its fame in 1829 when, under the command of Captain Kazarsky, its skilled maneuvering allowed it to successfully defend itself against the overwhelming force of two Turkish ships of the line. This 1:100 scale model by Zvezda was built by experienced modeler Alex, utilizing our sets of accessories for the Mercury model.

Goto Predestinacia 1:72 – Zvezda Ship Model by Steffen

Ship model Goto Predestinacia in scale 1:72, based on the Zvezda kit and built by modeler Steffen. Goto Predestinacia was the first warship of the Russian Navy, commissioned by Peter the Great at the turn of the 17th and 18th centuries for the Black Sea Fleet.

The model was built with an emphasis on historical accuracy and details based on surviving original plans. The build incorporates HiSModel accessories – wooden decks, rigging blocks, ropes, and sails – manufactured according to original references and adapted to the given scale.

Jsme poctěni představit v naší fotogalerii další působivý model od talentovaného portugalského modeláře Luise Miguela Monteira. Díky našemu vysoce kvalitnímu příslušenství dovedně upravil stavebnici lodě Charles W. Morgan od firmy Artisania Latina, via Aristo Craf. K tomuto projektu jsme především dodali základní prvky pro takeláž, včetně lan, kladek a plachet, což zvýšilo autentičnost a detailnost celé stavby.

For this project, we primarily supplied rigging essentials, including ropes, blocks, and sails, enhancing the authenticity and detail of the build.

Kon-Tiki 1:18 by Roman

Our friend Roman brought this Kon-Tiki raft kit by Mantua to absolute perfection. The 1:18 scale model features our sails and extra accessories. The original was a famous balsa wood raft used in 1947 by Norwegian explorer Thor Heyerdahl to cross the Pacific Ocean, aiming to prove that ancient civilizations could have made intercontinental sea voyages.
