The model represents a typical fishing boat from French Brittany. These barges have been used here for literally centuries and have evolved into the perfect vessel for this area of the sea. The very simple and solid construction and the equally simple and easy to handle sails made this boat a vessel still widely used today.
The model itself has long since gone out of production and is slowly becoming a rarity as it sells in low numbers. As can be seen, the kit is simple, suitable for beginners. You can give a lot of imagination to the colour scheme of the hull, yet especially the old pink sails are typical for these boats.
