Product detailed description

Description: Absalon and Esben Snarre are two sister multi-purpose modular vessels of the Danish Navy. The hull of a large frigate (combat displacement
6000 tons) allows you to carry a pair of helicopters EH-101 or MH-60 and the equipment common to anti-submarine frigates. However, the modular solution allows to load a field hospital instead of containers with anti-aircraft and anti-ship missiles in one day or turn the ship into a minesweeper with a capacity of up to 300 minutes, or for a transport vessel carrying up to 55 combat vehicles, including up to 7 Abrams or Leopard tanks. Absalon was deployed with great success in operations against Somali pirates, rescuing a number of ships attacked by pirates and accounting for 35% of the total number of captured pirates. The 1:75 scale kit is designed for very advanced shipbuilders.
Absalon has a hull plastic hull with an internal reinforcing wooden structure, wooden deck and superstructure. The kit contains all the plastic and wooden parts needed to complete the model, mock-up accessories (eg position lights, anchors, lifebuoys, etc.), ship shafts with bushes and propellers.
To drive the model, there are two DC motors of the 500-600 series, at least 30 A bidirectional regulators (according to the motors) with a 6-7 cell NiMH or 2-3S LiPo battery with a capacity of 3-5000 mAh.
In principle, even the most ordinary two-channel RC set is enough to control the basic functions; common standard servo is suitable for rudder control. But for the right modeler, of course, it is an "obligation" to add as many model functions as possible (lights, sound module, water cannon, maneuvering unit, etc.), which will require the use of a multi-channel RC kit - and there are never enough channels.
