Recommended set of professional AMATI rigging ropes for the complete rigging of the USS Constitution 1:96 model according to original plans. The set includes ropes for both standing and running rigging in correct scale diameters.
Natural colour ropes – for running rigging:
N10/40 – suitable for blocks 2–2.5 mm in height
N25/100 – suitable for blocks 3–4 mm in height
N50/20 – approx. 0.2″ – suitable for blocks 4–6 mm in height
Black ropes – for standing rigging:
B18/40 – for ratlines
B130/20 – approx. 0.49″ – main and fore stays
B100/20 – approx. 0.42″ – main and fore shrouds
B75/20 – approx. 0.25″–0.32″ – mizzen shrouds, main and fore topmast shrouds
B50/20 – approx. 0.16″–0.22″ – topgallant shrouds
B25/20 – under approx. 0.15″ – thinner auxiliary standing rigging lines
Rope diameters correspond to block sizes used in: USS Constitution 1:96 standing rigging blocks and USS Constitution 1:96 running rigging blocks.
