Material: oak veneer thickness of 0.3 mm, laminated  
Description of deck: the deck on the model has a visible deflection and slip (it is bent in the transverse and longitudinal axis). For this reason the veneer deck consists of several parts - right and left parts and deck centres. By gluing the individual parts separately - first the centre parts, then the right and left halves - the wooden deck gets the appropriate deflection without wool uncontrollably.
The veneer deck exactly matches the plastic deck of this model. All the holes in the deck are cut out, just like on a plastic base. The small holes around the masts and midships band are marked a holes for eyelets for attaching rigging and cargo on deck.

The deck is marked out in the veneer to match the construction conventions of the brig and brigantines. The design of the perimeter planking is called 'waterway'. Laying of individual planks. Their termination in the waterway, especially at the bow by hooking and tapering towards the bow and stern. Marking out the pegs which were used to nail the deck to the timbers - the timbers holding the deck, the so-called "treenline". All of this corresponds to the original plans and practices of the time when the ship was built.
