This complete set of 10 sails is specifically designed for the Vasa 1:75 model kit by Billing Boats. The sails are made from pre-washed 100% cotton canvas (125 g/m²), ensuring material stability and a highly realistic appearance.

Technical Specifications and Craftsmanship:
Our production process combines modern precision with traditional craftsmanship. The basic shape and stitching lines are processed on a CNC sewing machine for perfect symmetry. Each sail is then carefully finished by hand to ensure historical accuracy in every detail.

* The cut of the sails strictly follows the original historical plans of the ship Vasa.
* The hem at the top of the sails is wider than on the sides and the bottom edge, following authentic maritime standards.
* The sails feature additional reinforcements in the corners and at points where the clew lines are attached.
* Includes historically accurate reef bands (reinforcements at the locations of the reefing lines).

The design is based on documentation from the Vasa Museum (Vasa Museet) in Stockholm and research from the publication Vasa II: Rigging and sailing a Swedish warship of 1628.
