The set includes resin castings of the ship’s stern, the hatches of the two lower gunports, and davits (lifeboat davit arms), together with photo-etched window grilles.
The design is based on the book The 44-Gun Frigate USS Constitution by K. H. Marquardt. Page 67 illustrates the stern appearance of 1812, corresponding to the period represented by the Revell kit.
The resin parts are engineered to precisely fit the plastic Revell model. Replacing the original kit stern significantly improves historical accuracy and provides a more authentic and realistic appearance.
