Falconets
Falconets are light naval cannons commonly used on sailing ships during the 16th and 17th centuries, primarily for short-range combat and defense against enemy crews. They were typically mounted on forecastles, quarterdecks, and upper decks, where they were used to sweep enemy decks and protect the ship during boarding actions. Their relatively small size and low weight allowed for quick handling and a high rate of fire. Falconets for ship models are designed according to documented historical references and are sold individually as single pieces.
