Elsie 1:100 - set of sails for Elsie schooner (Lindberg)

Material: 100% cotton, weight 125 g/m². The fabric was pre-washed prior to processing to minimize further shrinkage during finishing.

Sail description: Complete set of sails corresponding to the real ship. The sails are sewn on a CNC sewing machine and subsequently hand-cut and hand-finished.

The cut and structural design of the sails correspond to historical reality. The shape and construction of the sails are based on historical plans of the ship Elsie.

• The sail hems are wider at the head than along the sides and the foot.
• The sails are reinforced at the corners and at the reefing points.
• Reinforced stitching at the reefing lines (reef bands) is included as standard.

Finishing notice: The sails are supplied in a basic state and require final finishing according to the chosen method – in particular ironing, impregnation, sewing or attaching bolt ropes, and subsequent installation on the model.
