Our friend Roman brought this Kon-Tiki raft kit by Mantua to absolute perfection. The 1:18 scale model features our sails and extra accessories. Manufacturer: Heller
Build author: John Ott
John has managed to turn the Soleil Royal plastic kit into a true masterpiece. Many thanks for his permission to publish his photos on our website. In the photo gallery you can see photos of his great model, on which he used our accessories like blocks, sails, ropes and photo-etch.
We are glad that John praised the quality of our products:
"Yes, the beautiful sails came from HISmodel. I shortened the main and foresail for a better fit, and added bolt-ropes, earrings, and cringles. I am very happy with the look and quality of the sails."
"Products from HiSmodel played a very big role in the success of my build. I think your website should be one the first stops for any ship modeler looking to do a kit upgrade."
In addition to the photos here, you can also see his build that he published on the Model Ship World forum, where he also recommends our accessories.
