USA Orders — Duties & Fees
USA Orders — Shipping, Duties & Customs Information
For customers in the United States, here is the current overview of shipping options and customs handling for imports from the European Union.
Low-cost shipping for orders up to 150 USD
We offer a reduced-rate shipping option for orders within the U.S. de minimis threshold:
- Shipping cost: 12 USD
- Carrier: USPS
- No duty
The 12 USD USPS option is applied automatically at checkout if your basket is within the 150 USD goods-value limit.
Orders above 150 USD
Orders exceeding 150 USD must be shipped with courier services that handle formal customs clearance. For these shipments, U.S. Customs charges duties and a Merchandise Processing Fee (MPF). These fees are collected by the courier.
- Import duty: 15% of the goods value
- MPF (informal entry): approx. 2.6–2.7 USD
- Couriers may add a small brokerage/advancement fee
Important — Customs communication
For shipments above 150 USD (FedEx or UPS), please monitor your email and SMS messages. U.S. Customs requires:
- Invoice confirmation
- Recipient identity details requested by the courier
- Any additional information needed for customs clearance
FedEx and UPS will contact you directly. Missing or late responses may delay delivery or cause the parcel to be returned.
Who collects duties?
- USPS: normally no duty for orders ≤150 USD
- FedEx / UPS: collect duties and fees for orders >150 USD
These rules are based on current U.S. customs regulations. Duties and fees are government charges outside of our control.
